The Setup

Create a Custom HTML Tag

In GTM, create a new 'Custom HTML' tag and paste the Grain snippet. This is the foundation of your tracking setup.

Set All Pages Trigger

Apply an 'All Pages' trigger to your new tag. This ensures Grain is active across your entire site from the moment it loads.

Import the Grain Recipe (Optional)

We offer a GTM JSON 'Recipe' for one-click setup of custom Tracks. Import it to automatically map your existing data layer to Grain events.

Look for the "Green Light"

Once installed, head over to your Grain Dashboard. A pulsing green indicator next to your domain means data is flowing precisely as it should.
